FARM & RANCH INVESTMENTS FOR BUYERS AND SELLERS
Stutzman Realty and Auction is pleased to announce that recently released reports from The Federal Reserve Banks of Chicago and Kansas City indicate a spike in land values, as of February 2021.
Within the Midwest Region, including the states of Kansas, Colorado and Oklahoma, the year of 2020 yielded an increase in land values by nearly 4%, which is the largest yearly gain since 2014. Interestingly, sixty-six percent of the gain was in the fourth quarter of 2020.
Increased cash flows, better asset liquidity, stronger commodity markets and attractive interest rates have seemingly contributed to the rising demand for farm and ranch land.
As of today, there is an ever-increasing demand for high-quality farm and ranch properties. Analysist concur, for first time since 2013, that the limited inventories of available land coupled with improved buyer financials will likely contribute to and maintain a strong and robust agricultural sector.
